PBF - Round 01

My entry for #PKMN-Battle-Frontier. Meet Zoe.

If you know motorcycles like the back of your hand, please forgive this unacceptable excuse for a bike. xD While I did use a reference, the changes I've done might make this one logically impossible to ride! JUST PRETEND IT CAN.

Forgive these terrible stories and descriptions below. I haven't written anything serious in like, 5 years. Ugh.

Zoe

Quick story
Zoe's story is not a tale full of tragedy and terrible events; she was a rather normal, but quite maniac, kid. At the age of eleven, one year later than the usual age for pokemon trainers to start their journey, Zoe got involved with the bikers of the Cycling Road, west of her hometown; they were the bad guys who were always looking to pick up a fight. As an easily impressed young girl, she almost immediately left home to join their ranks; with her Crobat to her side, she managed to get in after a long and -- dare I say -- bloody pokemon battle. It took forever for girl to escalate ranks, thanks to her overwhelming pride and her stubbornness that had developed throughout all the time spent surrounded by the young men that swore like sailors. She eventually obtained her very first bike, a Mach Bike. With her newly obtained reputation of 'biker' under her belt and her brand new vehicle, she and a few other bikers left their hometown, Fuschia City, and well as their old Cycling Road for the next city. The short trip made her realize how much she had been missing out -the fun of battling and never knowing what else would come up- this was the thrill she was and still is after. After splitting up with the guys who were dead set on making this new town their new base, Zoe, 13, departed for her new life of excitement and adventures with her faithful pokemon to her side. She has traveled far, and is now to be found in the Sinnoh region.

Personality
Zoe is an extremely proud girl. She had too many opinions on everything and probably speaks too loud for her own good. She tends to think of herself as a "special snowflake", but is often brought back to earth by her Crobat by the means of a slap in the face or a high-pitched sound that brings her back to reality. She's a quite a lot of a show-off and enjoy controlling things rather than "going with the flow". She tends to be very rough with her pokemon training even though she doesn't mean it. She tends to change her mind quickly, or to get tired of things quickly; she recently got rid of her bicycle in order to obtain a motorcyle, which she can barely drive yet. (meaning you can leave it out. xD)


Crobat
Mild nature
Holding: Lax Incense
At around the age of six, after coming back from a long cave-touring trip, Zoe had found a small egg in one of the open pockets of her backpack. She knew little about life, but with all the pokemon shows that aired on television, she had learned about pokemon eggs and vaguely about how to take care of them. It did not take very long until a zubat hatched out; and boy was she pleased! Keeping it a secret from her parents, she kept the little guy in the backyard and fed him all the food she could manage to get out of the house without raising suspicion. It was not before the age of eleven that she actually caught it in a pokeball; their friendship (and the food) had been quite more than enough to keep the zubat in the garden until then, and even managed to attract another pokemon!

Raticate
Hasty nature
Holding: Muscle Band
The other pokemon she had attracted with all that food was a rather large ratata; however, this one would come and go as she pleased. She had a pretty bad temperament and most probably anger management issues, but Zoe kept on leaving the food out for her as well. This ratata was her second catch, and as you can guess, it did not happen very long after zubat.

Koffing
Quirky nature
Holding: Toxic Plate
Staying one whole night without her own pokemon in the haunted mansion was what she has been dared to do; halfway through and dead scared, a koffing appeared from the darkness. The ridiculous happy face on it made her burst out laughing, forgetting momentarily where she was. She slowly learned to understand the pokemon and spent the rest of the night playing with him, or sleeping, knowing he would be there to protect her, though she forever refused to admit she had gotten help for the dare.

Steelix
Naive nature
Holding: Metal Coat
Steelix' shiny coat is Zoe's pride. Back when she first encountered him, as a dirt-covered and newly evolved steelix, he had been previously abandoned by quite a few trainers who had not been able to make him battle properly for them. It had been hard weeks of training with him, losing patience and almost giving up that finally paid off. Even though he has not been there since the very beginning of his life, Zoe considers him an extremely faithful and reliable friend.

Arbok
Hardy nature
Holding: Quick Claw
The capture of Arbok as an ekans was nothing exceptional; quite the normal battle and the usual pokemon catch. However, Arbok has always been extremely hard-headed and hard to deal with, even when if comes to food. These flaws almost made Zoe trade her for an appealing Houndoom that another trainer had suggested, after seeing how much trouble Zoe had with her Arbok. Both the pokemon and the trainer, hurt right in their pride, decided to prove him wrong-- and damn, did they put him back in his place.

Tentacruel
Rash nature
Holding: Grip Claw
Another pokemon that's as stubborn as the trainer; Tentacruel was actually a lucky catch. He was searched for by many trainers and bounty hunters for sinking tourist boats everyday; had Zoe not been on a tourist boat on that day, she probably would've never caught him. Weakened by harpoons, Zoe had had little left to do to catch it.
